Tiny
Tot - Ages 2 1/2 to 3 years old
This program combines pre-ballet, song and dance, creative
movement, and tumbling. Classes are 45 minutes long.
Dress code - pink ballet shoes, leotard, and tights.

3 to 4 years
old
A one-hour class that will introduce students to tap
shoes, while still learning basic ballet. Dress
code - black tap shoes, pink ballet shoes, leotard, and
tights. |
5 to 6 years
old - Tap/Jazz
Students are introduced to tap and jazz through exercises
and dance combinations. Dress
code - black tap shoes, black jazz shoes, leotard, and tights. |
Ballet
Ballet is the backbone of all forms of dance. Depending
upon age and ability, students will be placed in either a one-hour
class or an hour and a half class. Students will learn vocabulary,
barre work, technique, stage direction, etc. This class focuses
on building strength, flexibility, and grace in all movements.
Dress code - black leotard, black skirt, pink or white
tights, pink ballet shoes, and hair worn in a tight, neat bun. |
Please
Note: Enrollment in ballet class is required for enrollment
in Pointe and Lyrical classes and competition team.
Pointe
Enrollment in this class will be at the discretion of
the director of the studio. Students are required to enroll in
ballet class simultaneously. |
Jazz -
Ages 6 and up
A one-hour class that consists of warm-ups, dance combinations,
turns, and leaps. Our staff focuses on style, technique, strength,
and flexibility. Music varies from old to new! Dress
code - black
jazz shoes, dancewear, and hair worn up and off the neck. |
Tap - Ages
6 and up
A one-hour class that consists of warm-ups, dance combinations,
and rhythms. The staff incorporates a wide range of tap styles,
from Broadway to Funk. Dress code - black tap shoes, dancewear,
and hair worn neatly up. |
Lyrical
- Ages 8 and up
This one-hour class interprets music and lyrics through
dance steps. Turns and leaps are incorporated. Students are encouraged
to be confident in using facial expression and individual personality
to connect dance with music and convey this to the audience.
Dress code - tan jazz shoes, dancewear, and hair worn neatly
up. |
Hip Hop
- Ages 7 and up
Street style/Funk Music video style of dance. All levels
of this class will teach students intricate movement of the body.
Dress code - black hip hop sneakers, dancewear, and hair worn
up. |
